La Mascletà Vertical 2020, a spectacular pyrotechnic and music festival

The countdown for "Las Fallas" is almost up. The most impressive celebration of Valencia will start with a must-see show in La Marina de Valencia.

On February the 29th at 8 p.m. mascleta will begin which starts Las Fallas 2020. Ricardo Caballer will oversee one of the most impressive pyrotechnic shows of the falleras festival that each year exceeds the previous expectations. Last year alone, this show brought together more than 1,000,000 people and had nearly 1,700 kg of pyrotechnic material.

It is one of the most special features of this event. As a novelty, the mascleta will be 100 meters wider than last year, which will allow the show to be seen from more angles and enjoyed throughout the city. Vicent Llorens, director of the Consortium of La Marina has recommended that all the public who want to see the show come in time to enjoy it to the fullest and make use of public transport to avoid traffic jams.

This year with the support of Ricardo Caballer, they will have the most sustainable mascleta ever celebrated. The main innovation this year is the reduction of 70% of the waste from the mascleta, three quarters of this will disappear completely without leaving a trace in the city and  30% of the remaining material used is biodegradable paper and cardboard,  as stated by the pyrotechnic director, Ricardo Caballer.

Before the show there is a free concert for all the public in front of the Veles e Vents building. The lineup features artists such as Bombai, Alfred García, Pol Granch, Nil Moliner, Miki Nuñez, David Rees, Famous, Ricky Merino, Malva, Blanca Sol and Melani García. Tony Aguilar.
