Arcade Vintage, the museum of video games

Visiting Arcade Vintage the video game museum is a must. Arcade Vintage is a Cultural Association created to preserve and reveal the culture related to the world of arcade games and arcade machines from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. In the museum the history of the classic video games are shown, their fight for preservation of these video games continues as they believe it is an integral part of contemporary culture.



The museum is located in the town Ibi, they receive visits of all ages, from 6 years and up.. Interaction, creativity and the vintage games are the main pillars of its existence. 

In the Arcade Vintage Video Game Museum, a series of fixed activities are carried out, such as the exhibition of the entire collection of arcade machines, pinballs, game consoles and video games, free game sessions, guided tours and also temporary activities like occasional exhibitions, discussions with experts in the field, workshops, courses on the arcade theme, organisation of traditional tournaments and many other things. 



Another initiative of the museum is to give support to the new creators of retro video games, creating arcade machines with their games. They are also the organisers of the annual ArcadeCon event, a conference between associations and arcade game developers. The three day event consists of  discussions, podcasts, technical workshops and a tournament where the main national players get together.

One of the past events was ‘La Sesión de Mañana’ (Morning Session) on Saturday the 25th of January 2020, when all the Arcade Machines of the exhibition could be played, along with a selection of computer games and game consoles. On the same day there was a talk on the beginnings of music made with retro systems.
